This is how I remember it

The TV buzzed loudly as we watched the screen with intense concentration. Focusing on what was going to happen next, would she resist? Or would she eat the poisoned apple? The doorbell rang and our parents went to collect the pizza. I was so excited to eat pizza with Natasha. Our mums came and handed us each our small Margherita pizzas. We devoured the pizzas slice by slice, until I heard a funny noise. I turned to look at Natasha. Her face was purple and her mouth was open, she was making a gagging noise. I didn't know what to do, I looked at her in disbelief. She was just joking right? I screamed for our mums, they came running from the kitchen. Natasha's mum calmly sat down in front of Natasha, held her mouth open and reached in. Her hand pulled out a long, stringy bit of mozarella cheese. Natasha's face turned back to a pale pink, she drank a big gulp of water, looked at me and laughed. I was in tears, for I thought that it was the last day that I would ever see my friend again.

My most vivid memory from Kindergarten

The "High Gate House Kindergarten" was a small building with a little open-air play area. I went there 3 times a week, on a little yellow and purple school bus, where I learnt that I always have to put on my seat belt. It was a special day that day, it was the day before the Easter holidays and I knew that something special was bound to happen. When we arrived at school, I was the first one out of my seat and ready to run into school. When I walked in, it was like bunny paradise. The room was filled with baby yellow, baby blue and lavender streamers, pictures of bunnies were stuck on the wall and there were little baskets with scrunched up tissue, lined on the table. I put my bag onto my hook and walked over to the baskets. When all of us were sat down, the teacher told us that we were going to have an Easter egg hunt. My heart beat faster and faster. I couldn't contain my joy. The hunt started, I grabbed my basket and ran around the room. Within the first 5 minutes, I'd found 4 eggs and wanted more. I found another 3 eggs and started to look around and see how many the other kids had. I walked past a boy named Luke, he started crying because he hadn't found any eggs. I gave him 2 of my eggs, of course I thought that I had a gazillion eggs, not just 7. Five minutes later, the Easter bunny was here. I couldn't wait to go home and tell my mum. I watched the Easter bunny go out the door, and through the glass window in the door, I saw him take his head off, an old man was under the bunny head. He took out a cigarette and started walking away. Suddenly, all the joy in my little heart was gone. I didn't want the eggs anymore. I just wanted to go home.
That was the sad day, when I found out that the Easter bunny wasn't real.

The confused present

I know I'm a present, I'm just not sure what. I'm sitting in a cage and there is a bow on me. I'm in a nice house and there is a lovely, warm fire roasting away in the back. All I remember is leaving my borthers and sisters and coming here. But, there is a bigger problem, I don't know what I am and I don't know who I'm being given to! Will they love me? What if they hate me? There is a sudden ring, it keeps ringing , I can't find where the noise is coming from. An old woman hobbles to the white thing and picks it up. Ohhhh, it's a telephone. She looks over and sees me. She quickly hobbles over and reads a white peice of paper, it says "yadhtriB yppaH". She opens the cage and takes me out. "A puppy, I'll name you Amore". She gives me a big hug and at that point, I knew that she loved me.

Sammy and Hammy in their little puddle

Sammy the sad seastar lived alone in a little patch of water. He had no social life, not even his best friend Plankton. However, Sammy didn't know one little fact, which might explain his loneliness. For he shouldn't have been called a seastar, but a puddle star. Yes, it's true my friends, Sammy the seastar lived in a puddle. How a seastar gets to a puddle is beyond me, but it's true. Sammy pondered about getting a new best friend, for he just sat on Plankton. As he pondered, he heard ' clippety-clop, clippety-clop'. Suddenly a big shiny thing fell into HIS water and crushed his TV. Sammy was distraught for that TV had cost him 6 coral. As Sammy was grieving for his TV, he heard a deep voice say, "Hi, I'm Hammy the Hammer". Sammy was so happy, because he finally had someone to talk to. They immediately became BFFs.

For Sammy and Hammy, it was a happy ending.
